A Moveable Feast: First Uber Eats, Now It Cooks

Transformational app-based ride-sharing service Uber continues to extend its brand into new and varied walks -- er, rides -- of life. To help promote the recent launch of its Uber Visa card, it converted a double decker bus into an elevated mobile dining room that will make the rounds around New York City beginning today and through this weekend.

The moveable feast was conceived by experiential marketing shop Manifold and staffed by New York City chef Alex Guarnaschelli, who is cooking up neighborhood-inspired meals catering to a small group of Uber power users and frequent riders.

Each day the Uber dining mobile will feature two seatings of nine lucky riders and their +1’s as the bus travels around the city.
