GroupM Ups 3 Key Execs, Norman To Chief Digital Officer

Rob-Norman-BNoting digital's key role in future success, WPP's GroupM North American CEO Rob Norman has been named chief digital officer for GroupM Global, a new post.
 
Norman is a veteran of the digital area, having previously served as CEO of GroupM Interaction since 2006, though his duties will be greatly expanded.
 
Kelly Clark, currently Global CEO of GroupM agency Maxus, will succeed Norman as CEO of GroupM North America, announced Dominic Proctor, president of GroupM Global. He said his international expertise in UK, Asia and Europe will "bring a great boost to our business in North America.” 
 
Maxus was named the 2011 “Media Agency of the Year” by Adweek magazine and last month the agency was named the fastest-growing global media services agency in the world for the third consecutive year by RECMA, which measures media agency sector operations.
 
Vikram Sakhuja, currently CEO of GroupM India and South Asia, will take over for Clark. However, he will retain his role until a new appointment is made.
 
All three will report to Proctor.  Their official responsibilities begin later this year.

    Nice recognition of both the task/opportunity in hand as well as the resources to address the needs. GroupM is right on the cusp of the most exciting and challening of times..................what a great place to be. Wishing you continued success.
