Interactive Media Holdings (IMH) -- the parent company of Vindico, Specific Media, Myspace and Xumo -- on Tuesday announced four new c-suite appointments, all to new roles within the company, to bolster its leadership team.
The company has announced the appointment of Jeff Collins as chief revenue officer and the promotions of Jon Schulz to chief marketing officer; Jason Knapp to chief product officer; and Linh Chung to chief information officer.
Collins joins IMH from Time Warner, where he served as SVP of CNN’s ad sales in the U.S., per a release. He will oversee all revenue-related initiatives across IMH’s brands.
Schulz, now CMO, was previously with Specific Media as head of its global automotive business. Prior to joining Specific Media in 2008, he led digital strategy as head of digital marketing and CRM at Ford Motor Company, per a release.
Knapp will oversee the company’s product department. He was formerly EVP of product at Vindico.
“As CPO, my goal is to build on our very strong foundation,” Knapp said in an earlier statement. “My focus will be ons streamlining our overarching product strategy to deliver more comprehensive end-to-end solutions for our customers worldwide.”
Included in that “foundation” is a TV audience targeting platform from Specific Media and an “in-view only” programmatic ad platform centered around Vindico’s viewability measurement tech.
“Technology is no longer an expense,” stated Chung, now CIO, “it is a necessity for competitive advantage.” Chung was formerly SVP of technical operations at Myspace.
I heard Specific laid off hundreds yesterday and they aren't paying out any publishers till 2015. These newly created roles must be high paying positions.
