San Diego and NY-based digital agency Piston has named former Cynergy art director Jessica D'Elena-Tweed to creative director. D'Elena-Tweed has led design efforts for brands such as Fox
Sports, H&R Block, DirecTV, Marriott International and Aetna as well as organizations such as The Hammer Museum, UCLA, Lybba, Wondros, Mike Kelley and Morphosis Architects, designing major
published works, projects and environments.
Of the hire, Piston Executive Creative Director David Schafer said: "Jessica's unique talents are a perfect fit for multiplatform storytelling.
It's as if she can design in 2D and 3D at the same time, giving every project new facets and greater depth. She brings a very important aesthetic to Piston and her promotion is well-deserved." Hmm. 2D
and 3D at the same time? She's...Interstellar!
D'Elena-Tweed joined Piston as senior art director in 2013. She joined Cynergy from Fox Sports where she was a senior designer based in Los
Angeles.
