Colin Kinsella is out as part of a restructuring of Mindshare’s North American management team, naming agency vet Ernie Simon as its new CEO.

Simon, who has been with GroupM for more than a decade, most recently was president of GroupM Consulting.

Kinsella joined Mindshare in 2013 from CEO of Digitas North America. He was recently named one of MediaPost’s “All Stars,” class of 2015.

As part of the restructuring, Adam Gerhart was named CEO for the United States and Cindy Gustafson was appointed chief strategy officer for the United States.  

Gerhart was previously West Coast lead for the agency.

Gustafson was managing director of the agency's Invention Studio, a new division launched under Kinsella to "develop original ideas that weave brands into culture by using media as creative. "
