Ad Slams Georgia Incumbents For Not Condemning Death Threats To Sec. Of State

The Lincoln Project issued a new ad this week blasting Georgia Senate incumbents Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue for their refusal to condemn death threats sent to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger after he put the final seal of approval on the state’s November election process.

Georgia, as you know, went for President-Elect Joe Biden. Trump has insisted on calling the Georgia results fraudulent without a single shred of proof.

“Others have defended our democracy, despite the danger to their families and themselves,” the LP ad states regarding the legitimacy of the election outcome. “The response from Kelly Loeffler and David Purdue? Silence.”

The ad will blanket the Atlanta Metro area.

Expounding on the ad, LP cofounder Read Galen said: “Senators Loeffler and Perdue took oaths of office where they swore to defend our Constitution against threats both foreign and domestic.” Their silence “is deafening and borders on treasonous as Donald Trump attempts to undercut our democracy for his own ego.”

An earlier ad from the anti-Trump group targeted Georgia voters more broadly. It urged them to vote Democratic in the Senate runoff in January to complete their mission, started in the general election, of “voting out the politics of hate, bigotry and anger.”

LP are absolutely right.  Loeffler and Perdue are treasonous, weak and self-serving for not condemning death threats against GA Secretary of State.
