Alicianne Rand To Lead Hearst's Fashion & Luxury Group

Hearst Magazines has named Alicianne Rand as senior vice president and general manager of its Fashion & Luxury Group.  

Rand will be tasked with developing and overseeing brand-level consumer strategies that drive innovation, revenue growth and profitability across Hearst’s Fashion & Luxury brands: ELLE, ELLE Decor, EsquireHarper’s BAZAARTown & Country and VERANDA. 

“Alicianne is an experienced leader with a growth mindset and a proven track record of building innovative brand strategies that drive user engagement and consumer revenue,” says Debi Chirichella, president of Hearst Magazines, to whom Rand will report.

Rand arrives at Hearst from serving as head of marketing at Venmo for almost three years. While there, she led the team to nearly triple the revenue streams of the digital payment service. 

Prior to that, Rand was the vice president of growth marketing at Rent the Runway. She has also been executive director of global content and influencer marketing at The Estée Lauder Company. And she was on the founding team of NewsCred earlier in her career.
