Conde Nast Names Rochelle Pinto As Editorial Content Director Of 'Vogue India'

Condé Nast has announced another key hire to steward the Vogue brand overseas: Rochelle Pinto was named editorial content director for Vogue India, starting Oct. 23.

Pinto joins Condé Nast from Tweak India, a digital company she founded.

Last month, Condé Nast named Chioma Nnadi as head of editorial content for British Vogue

Pinto, who says she first entered a Vogue office a decade ago, hopes to “build an impactful and inclusive media brand across platforms, the kind I would have loved to see when I was growing up.”

“Rochelle is such a talented writer and editor and she knows how fashion and culture intersect in India as well as anyone,” says Anna Wintour, chief content officer and global editorial director, Vogue.

Wintour adds, “She’s a digital thinker through and through, who brings tremendous energy to her work and is lots of fun to be around too! She’s a great leader and the natural choice for this role.”
