X is adding a function that will let users publish feature-length articles.

Users can write blog-like material with the new offering, called X articles, and post this content on X, according to Digital Information World. 

These stories will have a custom link in the X feed, accompanied by a picture, headline and summary, the report states.  

This should benefit publishers who want to highlight articles. 

The feature, now in the testing stage, should soon be available, and may receive its own section in the app. 

The format resembles the old link preview format on Twitter, which Elon Musk removed but has now added X articles. The format is also similar to Facebook’s Instant Articles, which has been sunset, Digital Information World states.
