Look for Stagwell to continue expanding its international footprint this year.   

CEO Mark Penn said in a recent note to investors that they should keep an eye out for an announcement soon about a new affiliate in the Asia Pacific region.  

Penn recently returned from a trip to Tokyo where he met with regional leaders.   

While there, he also met with clients, including Lenovo as well as potential investors and acquisition candidates.  

“We will continue to grow our footprint and presence in Asia over the next year,” Penn told investors.   

The firm’s affiliate network increases its reach sharply. When it reported Q3 earnings in November Stagwell reported its number of employees was over 13,000 people across 34 countries. When affiliates are factored in, its reach expands to 21,000 people across 75 countries.
