Headliners this week:

JOHN DIFRONZO, a Founder of Reuters AdValue Network and a Sr. Executive of Columbine JDS (now Encoda), has joined eMadison as Executive Advisor, Technology Strategy and Alliances. DiFronzo, who will continue as Sr. VP of Edge Technology Services, Inc., a management consulting firm with a media practice, will assist eMadison in further development of its technology strategies.

KEITH SATTER has been named VP, Sales at Transactional Data Solutions. Prior to joining TDS, Satter was VP of Sales at ISG Consumer Sampling.

PAULINE SALOIS joins ICONOCAST as Director of Sales. Prior to ICONOCAST Pauline held positions as Market Development Account Executive with UPN44/KBHK-TV.

LARRY BEVINS joins The Townsend Agency as VP of Creative/Creative Director.

TOM BENELLI is newly appointed President RappDigital. Minsky was previously Director of Media Convergence at OgilvyOne and Co-founder of the OgilvyOne Interactive Media team.

DONALD SKARZENSKI has been named Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing at NetMason.com. Skarzenski was previously VP of Online Marketing at CompuBank.com.

DAVID ROUSSAIN has been named President and CEO for AdExact Corporation. Roussain previously served as VP of Electronic Commerce Marketing for FedEx Corporation.

ROD FAVARON has joined Mediaprise as CEO. Most recently, Favaron was Sr. VP of Sales and Business Development for pcOrder.com

Klever Marketing Inc. announced changes to its board of directors and senior executive positions. COREY A. HAMILTON, the company's president, was named CEO. Hamilton replaced PAUL G. BEGUM, who resigned from that position. One of the company's long-term advisors and major shareholders, D. PAUL SMITH of the Arbinger Institute, has also joined the board. LEONARD D. SOUTHWICK, VP and General Manager of the Metro Auto Group in Southern California, was named to the board as well. The board also comprises WILLIAM C. BAILEY, MICHAEL L. MILLS and RICHARD J. TROUT. ABEL T. PORTER resigned from the board to pursue personal interests. KATHY JIA has been appointed to General Manager of MediaWave Advertising Company. Prior to her new post Jia managed the distribution of CCTV-4, CCTV's overseas service, for International Channel Networks in the United States.

MARK GLASNER has joined Interactive Week as National Associate Publisher. Before joining Interactive Week, he was VP for global accounts with CMP Media.

PAUL CHAMBERLAIN has been named VP, Marketing at UltraVu Inc. Chamberlain previously held management positions in the fields of marketing and development for Akamai and INTERVU.

GINA SCAVO and CANDACE VINING have joined Cox Interactive Media in the newly created positions of regional business managers. Scavo joins CI from Booksamillion.com. Vining was most recently Regional Financial Manager for United Technologies for Otis Elevator Company.

MICHAEL A. CASTELLO is the newly appointed VP, Hispanic Radio for MediaAmerica, Inc., the New York based advertising sales representative firm. Castello joined MediaAmerica in 1998 as Director of Hispanic Radio Services.

ALAN PERPER has appointed Sr. VP and Managing Director, New Business Development for Equity Marketing Inc. Perper was most recently Executive VP at Simon Marketing Inc.

DAN BREWSTER, President and CEO of Gruner + Jahr USA, has been named Vice Chairman of the Magazine Publishers of America. Brewster has held his position at G + J USA since May 2000. Previously, he served as president and CEO of American Express Publishing. Brewster fills the vacancy on the MPA board left vacant by CHRIS LITTLE, who recently retired as Meredith Corporation Publishing Group's president.

WANDA R. KNOX has been promoted to Sales Manager of Scientific American Explorations, in addition to her duties as Advertising Account Manager for Scientific American. STEPHEN C. DUDLEY joins Scientific American as its Los Angeles Manager and as Advertising Director for Asia. Dudley previously served as Account Manager for Adeszko-Carroll Media Sales. STANLEY R. SCHMIDT also joins the sales team as an Advertising Account Manager in New York, covering the financial category, and New England. Schmidt formerly severed as Financial And Automotive Director for Worth magazine.

ELAINE HENLY has joined the Reader's Digest's Chicago office sales team as an Account Representative. Henly most recently served as Midwest Manager at m@xRACKS.

BEVERLY SMITH has been promoted to Fashion And Beauty Advertising Director at Vibe magazine. Smith joined Vibe as Fashion Advertising Manager in 1999. SENN MOSES, Executive VP of Marketing for News Corp.'s Fox Broadcasting Co., has left the company after only eight months on the job. Moses stepped into the position last April after an extensive search by Fox. Fox has yet to announce Moses' replacement. Moses joined Fox after spending two years as Sr. VP of Worldwide Marketing for Sony Pictures Entertainment's Columbia Pictures. JEFF MINSKY has been named VP and Director of media convergence for RappDigital, the e-consulting and digital marketing communications company of the Rapp Collins Worldwide unit of Omnicom Group Inc. Minsky previously served as Director Of Media Convergence at OgilvyOne and was the Co- Founder of the OgilvyOne Interactive Media team. PAUL WOOLMINGTON is leaving his position as Worldwide Vice Chairman and Strategic Officer at Young & Rubicam's The Media Edge. Woolmington was appointed President of The Media Edge in September 1998, but was bumped down to the global strategic position in November 1999 when BETH GORDON, head of Media Edge North America, became Chairman And Chief Executive of the Global Network. Prior to joining The Media Edge, Woolmington was Worldwide Media Director of Ammirati Puris Lintas in London. Woolmington says he plans on moving to a new unidentified venture.

DENNIS CHOMINSKY, President of PFS New Media has been appointed Webmaster of the New Jersey Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators.

ANTHONY SPIRITO has been named Director of Programming with the Katz Television Group's Programming Department, New York office. JIM CURTIN and GREG CONKLIN have been promoted to Sr. Programmer/Directors of Programming.

CARA DAVID has been named Corporate Sales and Marketing Director. She previously served as Corporate Sales Director.
