  • Hannah Fishman, Cam Hoelter and Cheryl Horsfall
    DDB New York
    DDB New York promoted Hannah Fishman from group creative director to executive creative director, and hired Cam Hoelter and Cheryl Horsfall as executive creative directors. All three report to Icaro Doria, chief creative officer of DDB New York. Fishman joined DDB New York in 2015, working as global group creative director on Johnson & Johnson beauty brands like Clean&Clear. In her new role, she will oversee the creative globally and locally for Electrolux and Frigidaire, and will continue to lead creative on the agency's Johnson & Johnson beauty brands. Australian-born Hoelter joins the New York team from DDB Sydney where he was deputy executive creative director, working on clients including McDonald's and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. During this time, Hoelter was instrumental in winning eight Cannes Lions, three of which were gold. After ten years at Digitas Health as vice president, group creative director, Horsfall joined DDB New York to lead the Merck account. She has previously worked on clients such as IBM, The New York Times, Chantix, Eliquis and Sculptra Aesthetic. At Digitas Health, Horsfall was the creative lead on Pfizer's Women's Health, where she helped sell the concept of an unbranded social platform complete with open space for postmenopausal women to share experiences, educate one another, and offer support.     SwellShark named David Tucker as head of strategy, where he will work with each client's creative agency to ensure that the media strategy is informed by the brand strategy and creative choices are informed by data and insights. Tucker joins the agency from UM, where he served as vice president, global intelligence director and director of strategy, leading global research and insights for UM clients such as Sony, Hershey's, and Brown-Forman. In addition, he was strategy director for the Sony Corporation of America account, focusing on data-driven, addressable and programmatically bought media. Prior to UM, Tucker worked at McCann Worldgroup, where he helped found and serve as vice president, deputy director for McCann Truth Central, the agency's global thought leadership and research unit. "David's rapid rise through the ranks is no surprise to any colleague or client who has worked with him and seen his strategic prowess firsthand," said Nick Pappas, CEO of SwellShark.     Publicis Worldwide promoted Jeremy Bowles to chief transformation officer, marketing services, North America and hired Bill Power as chief client officer, Citi. Bowles and Power will report to Arthur Sadoun, CEO, Publicis Worldwide. Both will be based in the New York officer. Bowles previously held the position of global managing director on Citi's Consumer Business. He is now tasked with ensuring that all North America clients have seamless access to Publicis' capabilities (production & content, digital technology, shopper marketer, CRM and analytics). Power will be responsible for both the Citi Consumer and Enterprise (Corporate) Businesses. He joins the agency from FleishmanHillard New York, where he was global practice leader, brand marketing, since 2010. "Jeremy has been key in transforming our relationship with Citi to bring them the best of Publicis Worldwide and establishing a model that works as a creative and media solution," said Sadoun.     RPA hired Don Rohn as group strategic planning director, reporting to David Berne, senior vice president, chief strategy officer at RPA. Rohn most recently served as group director, strategy at TBWA\Chiat\Day, where he served as the lead strategist on the Nissan account and supervised a multi-disciplinary team of strategists. At RPA, he will direct planning for the agency's Tempur-Sealy, ARCO, ampm and Clippers accounts. Rohn also held executive positions at WPP, Saatchi & Saatchi, and TBWA\Chiat\Day. His most recent work at TBWA\Chiat\Day included the launch of the Nissan Titan with "Shoulders of Giants." "Great strategists like Don are instrumental to our agency's mission to unlevel the playing field for our clients," said Berne. "Don has experience in both brand and retail marketing. He understands how strong integrated marketing leads to business results both in the near term and over time."

    Translation tapped Federico "Fede" Garcia as creative director, based in New York. He joins the agency following a 4-year stint at Ogilvy & Mather's Tokyo office. While there, he oversaw the creative development for many of the agency's biggest accounts, including Coca-Cola, American Express, IBM and Citizen. Garcia originally transferred to Ogilvy Tokyo from the agency's office in his native Argentina, where he served as a senior copywriter and creative director for brands like Coca-Cola Co., Mondelez, Kraft Foods and Kimberly-Clark. Prior to that, he spent two years as a senior copywriter at JWT Buenos Aires. "I'm a big believer in global thinking, and as an agency we actively seek out individuals who understand global trends," said John Norman, chief creative officer of Translation. "More than just a great writer, Fede is a powerful, strategic thinker with a sophisticated understanding of visual storytelling and contemporary culture. I'm very excited to see what he does here in the months and years ahead."
