  • Dan Fietsam
    Laughlin Constable
    Dan Fietsam joined Laughlin Constable as chief creative officer. He will lead creative across all of the agency's offices. Most recently, Fietsam led his own creative consultancy, The Fietsam Group, while also teaching in the graduate program at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, Media and Integrated Communications. Fietsam has led creative teams at FCB, BBDO, DDB and Y&R in Chicago and Publicis in Seattle. While at FCB, he helped win the Michelob Ultra, T-Mobile and Fan Duel accounts. He led the creative for T-Mobile, Coinstar, RealNetworks and Washington Lottery accounts at Publicis and the Dell consumer and small business accounts and the Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light accounts while at DDB. Before that, he was a creative director and copywriter at Y&R and Leo Burnett working on Sears, Miller Brewing, Jim Beam, Dewars, Minute Maid, Coca-Cola Japan and True Value, among others.   • John Howard, Tom Michael, Ethan Gunning, Elizabeth Krato, Kate Crotty, Gary Baker, Kristy Snowden, David Harrison and Brian Thompson
    Jack Morton
    Jack Morton promoted three and hired six throughout its U.S. offices. John Howard was promoted to executive vice president, managing director, Detroit. Howard has served as the creative lead for Jack Morton's Detroit office since 1999, most recently as executive creative director. He has worked on GM, NASCAR, MLB, SXSW, NCAA, CMA, NFL and Disney. Tom Michael was elevated to senior vice president, group account & strategy director, San Francisco. He served as a senior strategist at Jack Morton for 12 years, driving communications and strategy for business development and client engagements with both B2B and consumer brands. Prior to Jack Morton, he worked in-house at PeopleSoft and agency-side at Citigate Cunningham.

    Ethan Gunning was upped to senior vice president, executive creative director, San Francisco. Prior to joining Jack Morton, he was a creative lead for the Office of Metropolitan Media and agency-side with the Kenwood Group and Delphi Productions. Elizabeth Krato was named executive vice president, director of operations, Detroit. Krato was most recently a consultant, and prior to that worked at the agency for 17 years, most recently as senior vice president, group production director. Kate Crotty, named account director, events, New York, most recently served as programs and events strategist for Friends of the USA Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015.

    Gary Baker, vice president, creative director, New York, joins the agency following senior creative roles at Cake and G2. He worked on brands including Disney, Visa, Xerox, Special Olympics, Dell, Kellogg's and Campbell's. Kristy Snowden was named senior account director, San Francisco. She joins Jack Morton from Wunderman, Seattle where she was business lead, managing integrated marketing campaigns for clients including T-Mobile and Microsoft. David Harrison, senior creative director, San Francisco, previously worked on brands like T-Mobile, Heineken, Medtronic, Samsung, GM, Ford and Chevron. Lastly, Brian Thompson was named creative director, San Francisco. Prior to Jack Morton, he led creative at Apple, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and AKQA. During his more than 15 years in the industry, he worked on campaigns for Apple, Audi, Chevy, HP, Sprint, Adobe, Xbox, Anheuser-Busch and Delta Airlines.

  • Scott Foreman
    Copacino+Fujikado
    Copacino+Fujikado hired Scott Foreman as managing director. Foreman will oversee the independent agency's day-to-day operations, including new business, account management, media and production. He will work alongside Mike Hayward, creative director and report to Betti Fujikado, co-founder. Foreman joins the agency after a 15-year stint at Publicis Seattle, where he served as CEO, responsible for managing the agency's T-Mobile account, in addition to day-to-day operations. While there, Foreman was part of the initial team that relaunched T-Mobile nationally in 2002 and also helped the agency win accounts like Eddie Bauer, American Girl and Visit Seattle. Foreman began his career in the media department of Foote, Cone & Belding, working on the agency's Mazda account and eventually transitioning to account management, where he ran AT&T Wireless. "Scott's reputation in the industry, particularly in Seattle, precedes him and we're thrilled to add him to the leadership roster here at Copacino+Fujikado," said Fujikado. "It's rare that you find someone who checks off all the boxes but also, at the end of the day, is a warm, genuine, enjoyable person. It's a huge win for us to add Scott to the team."

    Assembly hired Joel Pacheco as chief talent officer, a new position at the agency. Pacheco will lead MDC Media Partners' HR team and report to Martin Cass, CEO of Assembly and MDC Media Partners. Most recently, he worked for six years at WPP's Kantar Media Ad Intelligence as senior vice president of global human resources. Prior to that, Pacheco was vice president, global human resources at Raritan, Inc., running HR teams across North America, Europe and Asia. "We could not be more thrilled to have Joel join us in this role," said Cass. "He is a highly motivated individual who understands the nuances and importance of recruitment and retention, and we know he will bring tremendous value to Assembly."
