The Economist Group is launching Electionism, a free HTML5 Web app for tablets, including the iPad, Samsung Galaxy and Kindle Fire. It culls content from The Economist and CQ Roll Call, including news and analysis about the upcoming presidential election. "By building content sharing functionality through Facebook, Twitter and email into the Electionism app, we have provided readers with the ability to engage others in a conversation around the election," said Nick Blunden, publisher of The Economist online.
