CBS' 'Early Show' Partners With Williams-Sonoma For Thanksgiving Segments

Partnership Marks the First Time "The Early Show" Has Collaborated With a Leading National Retailer for a Week-Long Series

CBS News' "The Early Show" is partnering with retailer Williams-Sonoma for "The Perfect Thanksgiving," marking the first time the show has collaborated with an advertiser for a week-long series.

The Williams-Sonoma segments will feature a variety of cooking and entertaining segments to be broadcast starting Monday, Nov. 15-Friday, Nov. 19. A final segment on Friday, Nov. 26, the day after Thanksgiving, will focus on ways to use leftovers. All of the segments will be taped at Williams- Sonoma's new flagship store in New York City.

"The Early Show" will also be featured in Williams-Sonoma's catalogue, which is mailed out to 55 million people, and is designed in part to help promote the show's brand. "This effort demonstrates how each partner's strength is the other's opportunity," said George Schweitzer, executive vice president of marketing for CBS.
