Xaxis, WPP’s largest trading desk, today announced that its merger with 24/7 Media, a digital-marketing technology company, has been finalized.

The two companies announced the merger in early December. The merged company will operate under the Xaxis name.

Xaxis’ existing global CEO, Brian Lesser, will continue to lead the company. David J. Moore, founder, chairman and CEO of 24/7 Media, will serve as Xaxis chairman.

Mark Grether will remain as Xaxis global chief operation officer. Christina Van Tassell will become chief financial officer, and Nicolle Pangis will become the company’s chief revenue officer.
