The Exchange Lab, a London-based programmatic marketplace, on Thursday announced the appointment of Chris Dobson as chairman of the company's board of directors.

"Chris has been responsible for the media revenue lines of some of the most prolific companies in the world," stated James Aitken, CEO and co-founder of The Exchange Lab.

Dobson was most recently at BBC Worldwide where he served as executive vice president and general manager of the BBC Advertising Division. He also worked at Microsoft for seven years as vice president and general manager of the UK Online Services Division, and as vice president of global ad sales and trade marketing.
