Adomik, a software-as-a-service platform for the sell-side, on Thursday announced it has opened its U.S. headquarters in New York City. The company is based in Paris, France and was founded in 2012.
Jonathan Shaevitz has been named president and chief operating officer of Adomik. He was formerly CEO of Upfront Digital Media, a DSP and DMP that sold to Undertone in June 2014. Prior to Upfront, Shaevitz was CEO of Maxifier.
To further build out its New York team, Adomik has appointed Sam Bell as EVP of partnerships and Trip Foster as EVP of marketing.
Bell was formerly general manager of global demand at Smaato and VP of business development at OpenX. Foster was formerly CMO of Brandscreen/Zenovia and CMO of MediaTrust.
"We are very excited about expanding our team with this level of talent,” stated Nicolas Schueller, Adomik’s co-founder and CEO. "Serving the needs of our North American based clients and partners is a huge priority for us.”
Foster explained to Real-Time Daily that Adomik is not an SSP (supply-side platform) because it does not buy or sell media. He said the company's platform analyzes data and optimizes pricing for publishers selling inventory via programmatic.
Adomik clients include Fairfax Media, Orange Advertising, Q1Media and others.
