Clypd, a supply-side platform (SSP) for programmatic TV, on Thursday rolled out a "yield optimization engine" -- aptly named "Optimize" -- it claims rounds out its offering.
Clypd is one
of several companies jockeying for position in the highly diffused programmatic TV space, including AOL's Adap.tv, Tubemogul, Wideorbit, Placemedia and
others.
"Effective management of TV advertising
inventory is a significant challenge given multiple sales channels, competing goals and other business rules," stated Bruce Dilger, chief solutions architect at clypd."As new transactional
strategies emerge within the television industry, Optimize takes advantage of its position in the workflow to effectively make decisions related to the assembly and scheduling of orders across the
inventory pool," he added.
