Razorfish is bolstering its leadership team with two industry veterans in order to meet the increasing demand from clients looking for e-commerce expertise.
The Publicis-owned agency is hiring Jon Reily and Steve White as VPs of commerce strategy, newly created positions in the agency. They share the same title, but each will have different responsibilities. Reily will be responsible for driving growth among the agency’s consumer electronics clients, as well as clients developing their mobile commerce strategies and those seeking to improve their presence on Amazon.
White will be responsible for driving growth in the consumer-packaged-goods vertical, with a particular focus in helping clients develop their digital commerce capabilities to support retail partners and direct-to-consumer offerings.

Reily will be based at Razorfish's Seattle office, while White will be located in Portland, Oregon. Both will report to Razorfish’s Head of Commerce Strategy Jason Goldberg.
“We’ve seen a three-fold increase in commerce related assignments over the last year, and that trend will only continue as retailers and brands move beyond simply supporting e-commerce, to actually making digital commerce a strategic competitive advantage,” said Goldberg. “Steve and Jon are experienced strategists with client-side success in major commerce initiatives. We’re extremely excited to add both leaders to our growing team.”
Reily joins Razorfish from Amazon, where he was the head of user experience and design for Kindle Stores. In this role, he led the design and customer experience for Amazon Kindle's worldwide content e-commerce business. As an entrepreneur, he founded two successful e-commerce companies during the dot com boom before moving to the private sector, where he helped brands such as Scholastic, Prudential, and Guitar Center create their digital identities.
White comes to Razorfish from R/GA, where he was group director and worked with Nike on its direct-to-consumer and retail innovations business. Prior to that, he held the role of group director at The Integer Group. Over the course of his career, he has worked on e-commerce strategies on behalf of leading global brands including Target, Nike, Proctor & Gamble, Adidas and Kellogg.
