Xaxis Names Veteran Media Executive David Kaye VP, Client Engagement

Programmatic audience platform Xaxis on Tuesday said it named longtime media executive David Kaye as vice president, client engagement. 

Kaye will lead new business efforts for Xaxis across East Coast U.S. markets with a focus on developing direct client relationships with major advertisers. He’ll also oversee direct sales activities for Xaxis’ native ad unit plista, as well as support client development for Light Reaction, the company’s performance business.

Kaye joins Xaxis after a decade-long career at The Economist, where he helped develop monetization platforms. Most recently, he launched The Economist Careers Network, a business education unit focused on guiding readers through their career journeys from pre-MBA test preparation to job placement and executive development.  

Prior to The Economist, Kaye was West Coast associate publisher at PC magazine, the flagship publication of Ziff-Davis Media.
