Programmatic ad marketplace OpenX on Tuesday announced the appointments of Eric W. Muhlheim as chief financial officer (CFO) and Laura Revenko as chief people officer (CPO), a newly created role. Both hires will report to OpenX Chief Executive Officer Tim Cadogan, and will be based in the company’s Los Angeles headquarters.

Muhlheim, who replaces Tom Fuelling as CFO, brings more than 20 years of finance and accounting, acquisitions management, and team leadership experience to OpenX. As CFO, he’ll oversee the accounting, financial planning and analysis, and business intelligence functions for the company. He was most recently CFO of Helix Education, Inc., a provider of data-driven outsourced program management and enrollment marketing solutions to colleges and universities. 

Revenko is tasked with strengthening OpenX’s HR organization and recruiting functions, as well as building the company’s culture. Revenko was most recently CPO at Zynga.

OpenX said its head count has reached 500 employees. Last week, OpenX was named to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 list of fastest growing companies in North America for the third time, in addition to being ranked as one of the fastest growing private companies in Los Angeles by The Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ). The LAB also ranked OpenX as a best place to work in the region.
