GetResponse, a Gdansk, Poland-based provider of email marketing and marketing automation software, has acquired Recostream, an artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML) personalized recommendations technology company. Terms were not disclosed. 

The European companies started working together late in 2021, and GetResponse began testing the Recostream solution in January of this year.  

Acquiring Recostream's technology gives GetResponse customers “the ability to include AI product recommendations in all their website & email activities without having to manage multiple platforms,” states Simon Grabowski, founder and CEO of GetResponse.

Recostream’s technology powers personalized product and content recommendations to a website's visitors, helping brands grow their conversions, the company says.

"In 2022 alone ecommerce sales will reach almost 6 trillion US dollars,” Grabowski says. “If you run a business that's looking to tap into that market, you must ensure a tailored shopping experience for your website visitors.”
