Guardian Digital is offering a tool to protect firms against with AI-powered email threats. 

The solution, EnGarde Cloud Email Security, analyzes the hacker’s past behaviors to discern a pattern and eliminate the confusion that exists between noise and signal when working with large datasets, the company says.  

Guardian Digital notes that the capability found in AI tools like ChatGPT can also be used for malicious purposes.

For instance, a generative AI model trained on a large database of phishing emails could generate highly convincing emails that are more difficult to detect, it adds.

AI can also generate text and speech that sounds like human speech.

EnGarde leverages open-source architecture to provide protection and foster transparency, it says.

The company employs machine learning to identify malicious emails that traditional methods may have missed. In addition, it utilizes AI to prevent AI-driven attacks.  

The company’s AI algorithms can analyze large volumes of data to identify patterns and anomalies that could signal an attack.
