The Wrap Appoints Former Conde Nast Exec Edward Menicheschi As President And COO

The Wrap News, the digital news product that focuses on Hollywood, has named former Conde Nast executive Edward Menicheschi as president and chief operating officer, effective July 5.

Menicheschi has served as the Condé Nast Media Group, chief marketing officer at Condé Nast and publisher and CRO of Vanity Fair. He also has been chief global commercial officer at Valence Media, owner of The Hollywood ReporterBillboard and Dick Clark Productions.

In his recent roles, Menicheschi has worked on digital transformation, new editorial properties, branded content and revenue generation including experiences, conferences and data products.

Menicheschi will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Wrap, working closely with Sharon Waxman, founder and CEO.

The Wrap will be relaunched with a new design and improved technology capabilities prior to August, and has added several new roles in the critical growth areas of newsletters, print magazines and video.

Menicheschi comments that he and the Wrap team will “continue to deliver high-quality, insightful content to our readers while fostering innovation and driving growth.”
