Tony Hale Promotes Newest Verizon Offers

Verizon has tapped Tony Hale ("Veep," "Arrested Development") in a new campaign that centers on savings for mobile and home internet plans.

Two new spots debuted Feb.29.

In the first spot, a family's frustrations with spotty home internet service is revealed. In the second spot, Hale helps a group that needs a phone upgrade and more storage for photos, while noting Verizon's iPhone trade-in offer.

Ogilvy is responsible for the creative work.

The mobile spots will run in broadcast, cable and OLV. The home spots will run in OLV and social.

Angie Klein, Verizon senior vice president of growth marketing and content, said: “It’s our mission to deliver the best perks and offers on our award-winning networks, and now Fios customers can take advantage of all +play has to offer – in addition to all the savings that come along with having both internet and mobile service with Verizon.”

The company just announced a new streaming bundle featuring Netflix Premium nad AMC+ad-free for $25.99/month.
