Jersey Mike's Subs Marks 14th Anniversary of Annual Month Of Giving

This week Jersey Mike’s announced its Annual Month of Giving charity promotion will return for the 14th year during March, and will benefit over 200 local charity partners.

On Mar. 27, local Jersey Mike's owners and operators will “donate their resources and every single dollar that comes in to local charities,” according to this year’s announcement.

Over the course of the month, Jersey Mike’s customers will have the chance to round up their purchase total, or add an additional $1, $3 or $5 to their total when ordering toward the “Month of Giving” fund. Local area charities include hospitals, youth organizations and food banks, among others.

The chain has held “Month of Giving” since 2011, where each restaurant owner selects their own local neighborhood charities to receive the money raised from the month. Last year alone the chain raised $21 million, according to the announcement, and they hope to beat that number.

This year in Southwest Florida,16 Jersey Mike’s locations owners have banded together again to donate 100% of their stores sales on Mar. 27 to the local Golisano Children’s Hospital. The effort raised $125,000 for the hospital in 2023.

At the first nationwide fundraiser in 2011, Jersey Mike's 454 U.S. locations raised $600,000 for 66 different charities. Over the years Jersey Mike’s philanthropic efforts have grown, along with the chain itself (now over 3000 stores); the fund has since raised a total of more than $88 million.
