CosMc's Invades Texas With 9 New Locations

Fans of CosMc’s, McDonald’s small format beverage-led concept which opened a singular store in Bolingbrook, Illinois, last December, didn’t have to wait long for more locations.

The company announced that it has nine new Texas locations slated for the Dallas and San Antonio metro areas in the coming months. The first location opened earlier this week in Dallas on Campbell Road, and launched with nighttime sky lightshow displaying menu items, spaceships and CosMc’s alien mascot in a massive multicolor display. The lightshow introduced CosMc’s to area residents on Mar. 15 and Mar. 18.

“Inspired by nostalgia and powered by a menu of bold, refreshing beverages and tasty treats,” per the release, the Texas locations will also have two new additions to the CosMc’s menu; the Beach Protein Frappe, described as “a breezy blend of banana flavor and protein-packed whipped indulgence,” and the Melon Herb Chiller “a radiant fusion of watermelon and mint flavors paired with … lemonade and an invigorating arctic kick.”

Beverage customization is encouraged at CosMc’s, with the company reporting that personalization such as adding fruity popping boba to the Tropical Spiceade or an Energy Shot to the Blackberry Mint Green Tea, are gaining popularity at the Bolingbrook location.

The Texas menus will include the full CosMc’s menu, including the Sour Cherry Energy Burst, Churro Cold Brew Frappé, Island Pick-Me-Up Punch, McPops and sandwiches.

Drive-thru, counter service and walk-up ordering will be available at all locations.
