Carvertise Drives Ad Messages To MLB Stadiums

The Major League Baseball season has officially arrived. It kicked off March 28, with 26 teams taking to the field.

Now, in partnership with Carvertise, branded Ubers, known as swarms, will circle baseball stadiums throughout the country with out-of-home marketing messages.

Cincinnati personal injury firm Merk & Gile was present at Cincinnati Red’s Great American Ball Park at the team’s home opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Visit Pensacola advertised to Atlanta Braves fans at its team's 2024 debut.

Some future efforts include Noom deploying branded cars around the Seattle Mariners' T-Mobile park in the hours leading up to select home games. California State University Northridge will highlight its educational programs via cars that roll through the crowds entering LA's Dodger stadium.

This is the third consecutive year that Carvertise will activate vehicle swarms at MLB games. In 2022, Carvertise deployed 37 swarms to baseball stadiums and nearly 100 in 2023. That number is expected to rise this year.

"MLB stadium swarms have been an extremely effective way for our clients to amplify their media spend. Brands across all industries — from weight loss giants to law firms to tourism destinations — are able to get the attention of baseball enthusiasts in an impactful way that's just a fraction of the cost of a stadium sponsorship," Mac Macleod, CEO of Carvetise, told Agency Daily. "Our clients' wrapped cars are getting that same level of visibility as a traditional sports sponsorship — but in a more creative way."

Carvertise includes a network of 550,000 registered drivers. It has run wrapped-car ad campaigns nationwide for clients such as Netflix, Bravo, 7-Eleven, EA Sports, NASCAR and GlaxoSmithKline.

Every game is available live on MLB.TV as well as local broadcasters. A list of local broadcasters is here.
