Pearlfisher Names Brown Global CEO, New Post Expands Business

Global design and branding agency Pearlfisher named its first global CEO: Jason Brown.

Brown's new role is the first in the independent agency's 32-year history.

Based in New York, he will lead global business growth across both Pearlfisher Studios. The agency has hubs in New York and London.

Previously, Brown was a partner-president at Godfrey Dadich Partners New York, heading its East Coast business. He also held head of design posts at various agencies. His agency portfolio includes Interbrand and Fahrenheit 212, as well as running his own agency, Dan + Jason + Co.

Mike Branson, founding partner-group chairman, Pearlfisher, said it was a “pivotal time for the future of design in an industry that is evolving more rapidly than ever before.” He noted Brown's appointment marks “an exciting and significant development" for Pearlfisher.

Brown said the agency represents “a true bar of excellence." His goal is to grow and protect its legacy.

Client work includes General Mills, Seedlip, Colgate, Wild Turkey 101 and McDonald's.
