Red Antler Group Debuts After Buying Big Stake In Fat Earth

Red Antler bought a majority stake in Fat Earth, a creative performance marketing agency based in Austin, Texas.

Fat Earth's roster includes Graza, Our Place, Laird and Beast.

The deal formally establishes the Red Antler Group, comprised of Red Antler, Fat Earth and Wild Fruit, its presentation design agency.

The alliance means both agencies will share brand-building and creative synergies. Fat Earth founder-CEO John Gross retains his position and will oversee daily operations.

Red Antler, based in Brooklyn, was co-founded in 2007 by J.B. Osborne, Emily Heyward and Simon Endres. Its roster includes Hinge, Figure, PopUp Bagels, Allbirds and Supergoop!

In 2019, the trio was named one of Inc.'s top 10 entrepreneurs of the decade, touted for crafting clients' identities — logos, packaging, industrial design, advertising and digital experiences — from the ground up. They navigated Casper mattresses positioning, helping to drive the startup's success.

With the announcement, two Red Antler employees, CFO Rich Pacheco, and chief people officer Hannah Lindsey will be elevated to the Red Antler Group.
