Simon Appointed Chief Creative Officer For BMB

Laurent Simon is the new Chief Creative Officer for London-based creative agency BMB.

He succeeds Matt Lever, the former CCO who exited the 20-year-old agency at the end of 2023. He will oversee a portfolio that includes Samsung, Rana, Farrow & Ball, Kerry Dairy and Bonne Maman.

Previously, Laurent was Chief Creative Officer at VMLY&R London, where he was the creative force behind Boots’ successful Christmas campaigns.

Prior to that, he worked at AMV BBDO and, with his partner Aidan McClure, joined adam&eveDDB. There, they produced the award-winning "Who Killed Deon" campaign for the Metropolitan Police.

As executive creative director at BBC Creative, Simon won the media company its first Gold Lion at Cannes and first D&AD Pencils.

Jason Cobbold, Chief Executive Officer at BMB, said: “His excitement about where next marks him out. In Laurent, we have someone who will drive our work to new heights, ask new questions and share our ambition to grow.”
