Hearst Media has shut down its Austin Daily newsletter, but plans to bring it back in three months as the daily newsletter of Austin Monthly magazine, the magazine it acquired earlier this year, San Antonio Current reports. 

"We'll showcase stories that appear on [Austin Monthly's] online platform every day," says a message issued on Friday, according to Current. "And it'll be a mix of Austin Monthly's signature lifestyle and trend pieces and newsy items that you've become familiar with in our daily issues."

Hearst acquired Austin Monthly and publication Austin Home from Open Sky Media Inc. in March, Current continues. This followed the purchase of Open Sky’s San Antonio Magazine last October.
