'Denver Post' Shops Stake In Baseball's Rockies

The Denver Post is shopping its minority stake in the baseball team Colorado Rockies, reports SB Nation. The newspaper is owned by MediaNews Group, which is operated by Digital First Media. The media company is looking to sell its 7.3% stake in the team. DFM wants to focus more on content creation and ad sales. Forbes listed the Rockies as worth $464 million earlier this year.
