Facebook is to face questioning from the UK's data watchdog, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) over its recent psychological experiment which compared the posts of people whose news feed was
filtered to be happy to those whose feed was filtered to be more negative. A spokesperson for the ICO has told FT.com it is too early to tell if the experiment broke the law but the organisation would
be speaking to the social media site. Facebook has apologised for the experiment.
