Starting June 1, Subway is airing a new TV spot tying in with the latest Disney Pixar movie, “Inside Out,” featuring the movie’s animated characters.
The 30-second ad, co-created by Pixar and MMB, features custom animation and character voiceovers by celebrities featured in the movie, including Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Bill Hader, Phyllis Smith and Lewis Black.
The spot, viewable on Subway’s YouTube channel, begins airing June 1, and the movie is scheduled to open in theaters on June 19.
In addition, the movie will be featured on Subway “Fresh Fit for Kids” bags, memory games, “build-your own” toys, in-store POS materials and on the Subway kids’ app, available through app-store links on Subwaykids.com.

Subway has a long history of successful promotions with Disney Pixar movies. It previously tied in with “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Frankenweenie,” “Maleficent,” “Muppets Most Wanted,” “ Frozen,” “Monster’s U” and “Brave.”
