Ad-tech firm PubMatic on Friday said it has made four new hires to its global marketing team as it seeks to grow operations in the U.S., along with the EMEA and APAC regions.
PubMatic named Philip Buxton as its EMEA-based vice president of international marketing. Buxton is tasked with coordinating PubMatic’s global marketing activities, working closely with the company’s product marketing and marketing communications teams to ensure consistent branding across the EMEA and APAC regions. Buxton, who started his career as a journalist, most recently served as CMO at The Drum, a European-based publisher. Buxton will be based in PubMatic’s London office.
Buxton is joined by new hires Nigel Kwan, director of marketing for APAC, Osbaldo Franco, director of marketing research, and Imelda Suriato, creative services director.
Prior to PubMatic, Kwan was vice president of marketing for APAC at Amobee and head of marketing for London-based mobile marketing and advertising company Weve. Based in the Singapore office, Kwan is responsible for developing and executing marketing programs, in conjunction with the EMEA and U.S. marketing teams.
Franco, formerly a senior research analyst at eMarketer focused on the Latin American market, brings expertise in developing and executing research projects and analysis to the marketing communications team.
Suriato has worked on global beauty, luxury and lifestyle brands including Lexus, Revlon, and Verizon Wireless. In her new role, Suriato is responsible for managing and developing the creative execution for PubMatic’s global brand and identity.
