Hulu has named Julie DeTraglia vice president and head of research for the over-the-top video company, unifying all of its research teams under one leader for the first time.
DeTraglia had been head of Hulu's ad sales research, where she led the team researching data analytics related to advertising.
In her new role, she "will lead the development, design and implementation of all research initiatives at Hulu, advising business leads on sales strategy, consumer insights, customer acquisition and product design and experience," the company says in a statement.
Before joining Hulu, DeTraglia spent 15 years at NBCUniversal (one of Hulu's co-owners alongside Fox, Disney and Time Warner), serving most recently as senior VP of digital research.
