“Innovation is what gets me up in the morning. It literally is what makes my juices flow… because we're just so focused on what's right in front of us, and I think for for people like me, that have a creative bent that also can be quite analytical, it’s a perfect field to go into.” That field is marketing, and as the senior vice president of marketing at Vintage Wine Estates, Tracey Mason believes innovation is all about finding those white spaces for consumers and exploiting them. In this episode of Brand Insider: BTS, the New York transplant talks with me about adapting her direct east coast style to California’s laid back culture, something I can certainly relate to. Tracey also opens up about being the only blonde, blue-eyed woman in the room when she was first starting out, how she made it work for her, and why she now makes it a priority to bring women with her on her journey.
