Programmatic video ad tech company Tremor Video this week announced the appointment of Laura Buchman as VP of publisher sales. She will oversee publisher partnerships for Tremor’s supply-side platform (SSP).

She joins Tremor from OpenX, where she served as VP of publisher solutions. Prior to OpenX, Buchman was president of business development at Mojiva. She previously held ad sales and biz dev roles at Liijt (acquired by Federated Media), AOL and Yahoo, per a release.

“Laura is widely recognized as an industry leader in platform sales and programmatic advertising and I’m excited for her to lead our premium publisher sales efforts,” stated Jha. “Her extensive background in mobile will enhance Tremor Video’s efforts to help publishers monetize their video content across screens.”

Buchman will be based in Los Angeles and will report to Manish Jha, president of publisher platforms at Tremor.
