Long-time digital ad exec Marta Martinez has joined Intersection, a media technology company that develops and deploys free, ad-supported municipal WiFi hubs such as LinkNYC and LinkUK, as chief revenue officer.
Martinez, a Madison Avenue vet who was senior vice president-global corporate development at Havas Digital, was a key player in the development of early trading desk and programmatic media-buying operations. She then went on to take several supply-side roles, including senior vice president-business development & operations and CMO at MediaMath, and most recently, senior vice president at AOL Advertising.
