    Connelly Partners has been chosen as agency of record by US Mills Inc. The account, previously unassigned, was won after a review of local agencies. The first assignment will be to re-launch the Uncle Sam brand of cereal in several phases. Phase I billings are expected to be between $1 and $2 million over the next 12 months.

  • Stainmaster - Richards Group
    The Richards Group, Dallas has been awarded creative and media planning and buying chores on the Stainmaster account. The agency bested Doner, Martin Agency, GSD&M, Austin, Texas, and Martin/Williams for the $10 million account.
  • Orbitz - MediaCom
    MediaCom has been awarded Orbitz's media planning and buying account. Carat, Chicago previously handled the account, estimated at $16 million, according to industry sources.
  • GlobalWorks Group - Cablevision
    GlobalWorks Group has been retained by Cablevision Systems Corp. to enhance the company's multicultural advertising initiatives, with an initial focus on Hispanic and African-American consumers. The agency will create broadcast, print, online, direct and outdoor advertising for Cablevision's iO digital cable, Optimum Online high-speed Internet and Optimum Voice. The effort will target Hispanic and African-American markets. The first executions from the campaign break in the second quarter. Spending was not revealed.
  • Shreve, Crump & Low
    Shreve, Crump & Low, a Boston-based luxury jeweler, has placed its $2 million advertising account in review. Peaks Island Marketing Group currently handles the account. Agencies competing for the work include Agency212, Avrett Free & Ginsberg, Connelly Partners/CGN, ISM and Wallwork Curry McKenna.
  • Tequila Don Julio - Real Branding
    Tequila Don Julio, a Mexican Tequila, has selected Real Branding of San Francisco as its interactive agency of record. Real Branding's responsibilities include digital strategy, Web site development, and online media planning and buying. Spending was not released.
  • Church & Dwight - Maxus
    Church & Dwight abruptly moved its $80 million media buying and planning account from Frontier Communications to Maxus, mere weeks after awarding Frontier Communications the account.
  • TravelCenters of America - IdeaMill
    TravelCenters of America has hired IdeaMill for branding and campaign work. IdeaMill's task is to communicate the wide-ranging offerings of the brand under a new theme: Come to a Complete Stop. Spending was not released.
