Following the launch of its AI creator assistant, Meta has begun
testing a stand-alone AI-powered companion app designed to be a “homebase” for Facebook creators striving to build their audiences on the tech giant's flagship social media platform.
As an AI-powered reimagining of Meta’s original Facebook Creator Studio hub, the new app will utilize Facebook’s AI creator assistant, which was originally launched at the start of
June, offering creators recommendations based on their content output, performance, audience, and goals./p>
Instead of using a third-party AI assistant, like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Meta
wants Facebook creators to seek out answers to questions about their platform strategies via conversations with its own proprietary AI assistant.
The new Creator Studio app will also feature
an AI-powered comment feature designed to highlight user comments while also generating draft replies in the creator’s personalized tone.

Upon opening the app, creators will see a daily
feed of suggested priorities, including reviews of new posts, goal tracking, and user comments in need of replies.<
The reimagined Creator Dashboard follows Meta's ongoing investment in AI
and the launch of various AI-powered companions for advertisers and users.
In April, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg told investors that
“we're starting to see the promise of AI that understands our personal context, including our history, our interests, our content and our relationships.” Months later, Zuckerberg stated
Meta’s goal of delivering “agents that can understand your goals and then work day and night to help you achieve them.”
Along with developing specified AI-powered companions,
Meta has been launching more stand-alone apps. Instagram quietly launched a Snapchat-copycat photo app called “Instants,” while Facebook released its own Reddit-aligned app for Groups
called “Forum.”
According to the New York Times, Meta is also in the process of
building a Polymarket-like app called “Arena,” adding to the company's expanding ecosystem of digital utility platforms.
The Creator Studio app is now testing with a hand-selected
group of creators.
