Minecraft Taps Creator Partnership Platform To Power Affiliate Program

Minecraft, which is the world's best-selling video game of all time, is now utilizing Impact.com to power its recently announced affiliate program, providing the gaming company with a digital platform on which to discover, recruit, and manage creator partnerships at scale.

The popular sandbox game and IP introduced its first affiliate program in April, allowing brands and creators to earn commissions by promoting products and subscriptions to their audience through the video game's native marketplace.

As affiliates, brands and creators are able to direct their audiences to the official Minecraft marketplace via a unique link, where consumers can purchase promoted content.

Through the partnership with Impact.com's Creator and Performance partnership solutions, Minecraft can discover and manage creators within a unified platform, with the added ability to track performance, attribute, and pay out creators in real-time for engagement with the content they are already making and sharing.

Notably, via Impact.com, Minecraft can support multiple partner types within the game's native ecosystem, including creators, publishers, educators and Minecraft Marketplace partners, while better understanding which content resonates most with which audiences.
