Holland America Line is celebrating America’s
250th anniversary with a unique veteran-created collaboration.
The cruise line has teamed up with stationery brand Crane on a collection of cards designed by artists from the United
States Veterans' Artists Alliance.
Three U.S. veteran artists were selected to create the limited edition 12-card collection. Each of the three artists, Lindsay “Bones” Cordero,
Amy R. Roberts and Jen LaVita, designed four cards, including one for each of Holland America Line's ships.
“There is power in bringing together two brands with such deep roots,”
said Kacy Cole, CMO for Holland America Line. “Crane and Holland America Line share a belief in craftsmanship, authenticity and creating lasting memories. This collaboration allows us to
translate that heritage into a tangible experience our guests can truly connect with.”

The collection isn’t the first time Crane has been involved in commemorating historic events.
Its stationery has been used to mark multiple significant moments in the country’s history, including Paul Revere, who used the paper to print the American Colonies' first paper money. The
inauguration invitations for both the Golden Gate Bridge and Statue of Liberty were printed on Crane stationery, as well as the Roosevelts' Christmas cards and sympathy acknowledgements from Jackie
Kennedy.
The collection will be available for purchase on board Holland America ships at the end of April.
The cards will also be used during the 2026 Grand World Voyage on Volendam,
where, during an on-board veterans meet-up, they will send well wishes to other veterans via the specialty cards.
The cruise line is also commemorating America’s semiquincentennial
(250th) with the America's 250th Celebration: Stars and Stripes cruise, which departs from Boston on July 4, 2026, and stops in ports significant to U.S. history, including Norfolk, VA and
an overnight stay in New York.
