Jersey Mike's Aims To Top $30M Donation Goal For Special Olympics Athletes

One East Coast sandwich chain’s annual Month of Giving is set to benefit one singular national charity for only the second time in the company’s 70-year history.

March 1 marked the beginning of Jersey Mike’s Subs’ annual Month of Giving, which this year exclusively benefits local athletes across the U.S. to help them attend the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. This is only the second time in Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving history that the fundraising campaign will support a single cause.

“As Jersey Mike's celebrates our 70th anniversary, it's especially meaningful to recognize our long-standing partnership with the Special Olympics,” said Charlie Morrison, CEO of Jersey Mike's. The chain has been a supporter of the Special Olympics since 1975.

Throughout the month of March, Jersey Mike’s customers will have the chance to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar, or donate directly, when placing an order. The chain will hold its annual Day of Giving on March 25, when all 3,200+ locations will give 100% of the day’s sales to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games and to the local state programs attending the USA Games.

The 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, to be held June 20-26 at locations across Minnesota's Twin Cities, will have more than 3,000 athletes competing in 16 sports including athletics, gymnastics, swimming, basketball, pickleball and cornhole.
