Liesje Hodgson has been named
to the new role of vice president, executive strategy director for R/GA. The appointment reflects the agency's focus on AI-driven brand experiences.
Hodgson will lead the agency’s
experience strategy and support client engagement. Based in New York, she reports to Melissa Jackson Parsey, global chief strategy officer at R/GA.
Jackson Parsey called Hodgson
“the rare strategist who can connect deep human insight to the systems and technologies that will shape how brands operate and grow.”
Previously, as SVP, she led Material’s
design practice across North America and APAC, including its design studio Aruliden, with clients such as USTA, Verizon, WHOOP and Movado. In addition, she was a managing director at Redscout and held
senior strategy posts at Interbrand and Frog.

“Brands have spent decades optimizing how experiences look, feel and flow. The next question — the one no one has really
solved yet — is how they think and collaborate,” said Hodgson. “For decades, R/GA has found creative opportunity in technological disruption and inventing new playbooks for clients.
I'm excited to build on that and help define what comes next.”
R/GA client work includes Stone Island, MOCA, Google Android, Verizon and Moncler.
