LinkedIn Certification Program Aims To Link Marketers With Experienced Agencies

LinkedIn launched its “Agency Certification” program on Wednesday, offering marketers a new way to identify agencies that are most familiar with the B2B social platform’s ad tools.

According to the Microsoft-owned company, Agency Certification recognizes agencies with “demonstrated expertise in LinkedIn Ads and a commitment to delivering strong results through platform-aligned best practices” across campaign planning, execution, and measurement.

Certified agencies will receive a badge they can showcase across websites, pitch materials, and marketing channels, while also gaining external messaging capabilities, including approved language for announcements and client communications.

In addition, certified agencies will be given access to a communications and promotion kit, as well as recognition in LinkedIn-led campaigns and industry spotlights.

“Many agencies have built deep LinkedIn Ads expertise through years of hands-on experience, but that expertise is not always visible to clients or prospects,” said Matt Derella, vice president of LinkedIn Marketing Solutions.

Harmelin Media has become one of the first recognized certified agencies, with 80% of its team completing certifications in LinkedIn Ads Fundamentals, marketing strategy, measurement, and content and creative design.

To acquire certification, agencies must have a Business Manager account and complete specified LinkedIn Marketing Academy certifications like those listed above.
