Toyota Leverages NFL Draft To Boost Girls Flag Football

Ahead of the NFL Draft, Toyota Motor North America is celebrating rising stars at every level of the game, from youth flag players to prospects preparing to enter the league.

The event takes place April 23–25 in Pittsburgh.

Team Toyota athlete and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. will lead a training camp where select NFL Draft prospects and members of the United States Women’s National Flag Football Team will serve as coaches, guiding girls in flag through drills and skills challenges.

For girls, the clinic offers visibility and access—and reflects a broader shift in the game. As flag football continues to grow, Toyota aims to ensure the next generation isn’t waiting on the sidelines, according to the automaker.

Toyota, the official automotive partner of the NFL, will also cover NFL Flag fall registration kit fees for current players in the Pittsburgh Flag Football League’s coed youth and high school girls leagues.

Meanwhile, media personality Kay Adams will anchor Toyota’s coverage of the NFL Draft red carpet. Against a background of the  all-new 2026 Toyota RAV4, prospects will reflect on their journeys and spin a prize wheel. Toyota will donate  the corresponding amount to an NFL Flag league in each player’s new NFL home city, supporting youth athletes nationwide.

This marks Toyota’s third consecutive year as presenting partner of the red carpet. Fans can also visit the Toyota NFL Draft Day Studio, which features interactive activities designed to celebrate team pride.

Toyota’s presence at the 2026 NFL Draft underscores its broader commitment to community impact, according to the automaker. The company has contributed more than $3 million to support over 300,000 youth flag football players through its dealer network.

“Every journey deserves a spotlight, and we are proud to see girls leading rather than watching from the sidelines,” said Dedra DeLilli, vice president of marketing communications at Toyota Motor North America, in a statement. “The NFL Draft is just the beginning, and Toyota will continue showing up for those pursuing their dreams.”
