New York-based agency The Charles Group has appointed
industry veteran Woody Wright as its first Global Business Director, a role that unites client leadership and new business development under a single remit. Wright will report directly
to CEO Aaron Edwards.
The role is designed to reflect a more integrated approach to growth, ensuring that the vision and ideas that resonate with prospects
carry through to execution once they become clients, according to the agency.

Wright will work closely with the agency’s founding partners across creative, operations and finance
to drive both commercial growth and the continued evolution of the agency’s work, the firm said.
Wright brings over 15 years of experience building and scaling brands to his new
position. Most recently, he served as Director of Global Brand at Back Market, a global online marketplace for refurbished electronics, where he led the evolution of the company’s brand
strategy.
Previously Wright spent nearly a decade at SWAT by Kirshenbaum, where he led account management and brand strategy for clients such
as Wheels Up, Goldman Sachs, Delos, EleVen by Venus Williams and Furtuna Skin.
In addition to its New York headquarters, the agency has operations in London and
Chicago. Clients include HP, Marriott, Cartier and Estée Lauder.
